THORACIC RELEASE UPPER BACK
The thoracic spine tends to harbour muscular and joint tension. The patient lying face up, the therapist's left hand is placed over the patient's upper back (thoracic area.) The patient is then asked to cross their arm over their chest, the therapist then lunges quickly compressing the patient's chest thus forcing the spinal process to move.
